Fiona received her primary degree in History and English from UCD. After many years in Allied Irish Bank working in the IT, Marketing and International Banking sphere, she left to complete an MA in the History of International Relations in 2012. Fiona joined Eneclann in 2016 having spent 2 years working in ‘The Dead Centre’ of Dublin, Glasnevin Cemetery Museum.
Despite being born in Dublin Fiona’s family history is rooted mostly in Counties Cork and Limerick. Although County Leitrim is also part of her DNA through her Great Grandparents. She is excited at the challenge of heading up the new ‘Irish Family History Centre’ in the CHQ building in the IFSC and looks forward to encouraging people to begin a journey of discovery investigating their Irish family tree.
