I am a Genealogist and Probate Researcher in the team. I work with people from all over the world who share a common desire that I can personally relate to - that is, to feel the sense of connection that comes from knowing who we are and where we come from, and maybe even being able to walk in the footsteps of our ancestors. I am very dedicated to helping make that happen.

Hi, I'm Emilie. I am a researcher here at the IFHC. I find it incredibly rewarding to use my love of history and share this affinity with customers as we discover their family history.

I love hearing people's stories of their families, and helping them look for their origins. One of my favourite things about my job is when I can connect someone with their ancestor's 'place'. It may be the church they attended, the ruins of a house, the graveyard where the family is buried...but having that connection means so much to people.

Hi, I'm Katie and I'm Head of Operations and Analytics at the IFHC. I work across the Research and Centre teams, so there's a 50/50 chance of meeting me in the Centre at any given time.
Cara Eiwanger

Being the son of a Superintendent Registrar for Births Deaths & Marriages, I was exposed to Genealogy from a very young age. Many Saturdays during my early teens were spent browsing through the original leather bound Church Registers in the Archives at Canterbury Cathedral helping my father trace our family tree.
