I am one of the expert genealogists at the Irish Family History Centre. My work at the Centre combines two great passions of mine – historical research and all things Ireland!
I have more than 15 years of experience researching the languages, folklore and history of Ireland, and I have authored several peer-reviewed publications on the grammar of the English language in Ireland (Hiberno-English) and on traditional oral narratives and folklore from Co. Clare. My experience in conducting historical and genealogical research as well as working with oral history documentation is quite diverse, with a background in Holocaust studies and Jewish genealogy alongside my academic research into Irish folklore and local history.
I love chatting to people and being able to help others find more pieces from their family tree puzzle. I also love a good story, so if you happen to see me at the Centre be sure to share with me your best anecdotes and family lore!
