In January 2017 Irish artist Eve Parnell’s new exhibition will be Opened in the Humboldt University in Berlin, by H.E. The Irish Ambassador to Germany, Michael Collins ‘History is written by the Victors’ but in between the pages we can find facts and stories that should be re-discovered; research is like a conversation and when we bring our discoveries forward, I believe we can all benefit from sharing knowledge.
The title of the exhibition ‘ Vernehmt und lasst mich traum so wahrheit singen – Let me sing dreams as words of truth’ is taken from a poem written in 1923 by Claus Schenk Graf von Stauffenberg, one of the leading members of the 20 July 1944 assassination plot on Adolf Hitler.
